Ford alloys on an Audi?

Anybody here fitted ford alloys onto their audi? Both are 4x108 so stud patterns are the same. The wheels im looking at are o na fusion but fit the fiesta/focus/escort e.t.c and are a FWD offset.

Is this a cunning plan or am I on a hiding to nowhere?

A mate of mine used to put ford wheels on audi's to roll them round whilst working on them, if i remember rightly peugeot used to be ford fitting as well.

Yes peugeot, Citroen and Ford are all the same. I think citroen need spacers for ford rims to fit though.

If your mate stuck ford rims on an audi and they didnt catch the strut or caliper then thats a good sign!

You need spigot rings, as the Ford bore is 64.3 and the Audi bore is 57.1, if you run them without you get terrible vibration and eventually your wheel nuts come loose. I know from experience:eek:

Ive read all about spigot rings, I can get a set for about £20..
