Brakes are awful

hi guys

was wondering if there is a way to check the brake "bomb" on my audi ,

the brakes have never worked very well and need to be stood on for anything to happen, the discs and pads have plenty left on them too

thanks

Jim

Youre supposed to pump the pedal with the engine off and it should supply servo assistance for a certain number of depressions.
Should be on Phil Paynes isham research website.

welcome to the world of 1980's braking power. Mines pretty shit too but my benchmark for comparison is a 2007 Volvo and Volvo brakes do tend to stop you on a sixpence

at least 10 depressions with engine 'just turned off'

or full lock (if you have p.a.s.) and pump it with engine running.

if light comes on after 3 (all of mine do!) bad bomb

just get bigger legs..cheaper
