Looks like a lot of people will have thought the same given no bids on a fairly low starting price, which is why cars like this are just dwindling away.

the guy said he was a dealer and he used to take all the old part-ex. cars from the local garages and titivate them and sell them on

Agree: I'm just breaking an '86 (September) 80 Sport. had toyed with the idea of selling it as is, but worth more for spares - esp. with costs of things like Warm Up Reg etc. :yikes:. Trying to take off most of the bits; incl rack & susp. etc. Trouble is, as I break it I realise it was in really good shape, but for rear sub-frame mountings: both of which were shot; & were going to cost me £400 per side. Shame, but there you go. Saving some bits for my Sport, but if there is anything in particular anyone needs let me know. Cheers. G.

you cant put a price on love haha my '85 td has cost me £2500 in the last 6 month due to me putting it on an island and also a paint job to tidy it up new wheels mot etc im never gona see that money again! this would be a good project for some after a dying model of car wont be any left in 10 years i reckon

Sure does seem odd how some are rotten and others solid as a rock?!

My 81' is ridiculously solid, made me laugh when I first looked underneath!

Save em if you can people!! :)
