wanted,clutch fluid reservoir for '86 cq
 
Hi,I need a clutch fluid reservoir for an '86 cq.It's the little one thats mounted on the drivers side under the bonnet.Thanks in advance,Mike.

Not got one, but to add to your woes :grr: Mine got split a couple of months ago ~& tried to get one, but another NLA from Audi! Makes me think I should have gone the BMW route..............not really. I'm still glad I went the Audi route despite their lack of support on spares! Hope you get sorted - had to epoxy mine! G.

If you dont already know they are No Longer Available (NLA).
Pete Reeve has found one which is similar from a BMW, its a little taller than the original and the connection faces down rather than out of the side. It does the job and keeps you on the road. :tup:

why dont they make up some alloy ones... would look pretty under the bonnet too... any handy fabricators out there to TIG up a few...:rock:

You get the occasional new one pop up on ebay from time to time. Otherwise, it's only a resevoir, there are plenty of substitutes available from various bikes plus some of the competition resevoirs can be adapted.
