body colured rubber rear boot spoiler

Finally stripped and straightened the rear spoiler that is missing from my B2 80 Sport. The paint on there was horrific, with someone having tried to brush paint it in the past.
Now its stripped right back down to the rubber and ready to be re painted and re fitted.
Question is, what do i prime it with? Also it will need to be Tornado red. Noticed tha Halfrauds do a vynil paint in red, its a tenner a can. Would this be ok for an undercoat?
I'll probably paint the spoiler once its mounted to the car to minimize the chance of it cracking etc.
Anyone painted this kind of spoiler before? Help!

You have to use a special additive to the paint to make it flexiable.

can you get this paint/addative or is it something you have to get a body shop to do?

The painter who did mine did it added it so I don't know really, maybe some one with experiance of spraying could say.

The email you sent me with the decal repros had some good stuff on it but nothing specific to Audi 80 Sports sadly. :(
Looks like i'm gonna have to bite the bullit and farm out the spoiler to a body shop (sigh).
I hate doin that, prefer to do stuff myself. Oh well...
