My 80 at Car Audio Lancaster

A few pics of my recent purchase having the first of its planed 'upgrades' earlier in the week.

An electric aerial...how 90s is that!

Next up will be to have my recently acquired 10 spoke alloys refurbished and fitted with new tyres. I can't wait to get this done as I think it will make the car look fantastic and its taking all of my willpower to put it off until spring  plus the cars current tyres are as new. Watch this space :nono:

 I'm not exactly a young'un but I wasn't around in the 50s (nearly but not quite!). I just remember them being a bit of a must have yuppie type car accessory in the late 80s/early 90s hence the retro fit to the audi.
Thanks for the comment on the car, I'm certainly well chuffed with it so far and have had loads of compliments about it from friends, neighbours and even the odd passer-by, the vast majority of whom just can't believe its 22 years old

Don't put it up in the garage and try to drive out :yikes:
I only did that once :nonod:
Then got a new one :lol::lol:

Yes very embarrasing when you do it, there is always somebody to see it

what dash speakers did you go for?

dgacampbell 08-09-15 10:51 PM

I used these in the front, have them coming up on 4 years, and they have taken all the abuse I have gave them, and I play them loud. very crisp and clear!
