Polished rear lights...

Well, I've had a bash today....

Started with these....

The scratch

And finished with these...

The scratch after cutting, polishing and waxing...

The finished rear lights...

This is a direct comparison between polished and unpolished matching pair...

And this is what I used... The Evo Fine was a tornado of splatter...

I have discovered I can polish a turd to within a micron of being a walnut whip now... That is worrying.... And it's actually quite satisfying at the same time... regardless of depth, it's all open game now...:ihih:

Before the RallyRep came home from "the 'shop" we were admiring the "patina" of flat, faded paint with scrathes and flaking failed rattle can resprays with rust.. When suddenly I thought.. "I know, I could polish it all out, right now".... Then I just got in and ragged the arse off it... Because it loves it!
