Wet look!

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good polish and wax to use on Quantum grey paint? Just ordered a new car (same model and in the link) and not sure what is best to use on it. Haven't seen one on the roads yet and not sure if it looks as wet like pictured or is it more flat and primer looking like the Nardo grey.

Thanks

No need to polish it, just leave it a few years and it'll look like what it is - battleship grey !

I'm old and I find a lot of the current colours on cars a bit dull if I'm honest, I prefer a nice metallic or pearl finish more like they were in the 90's, but some cars do look OK in them. Just can't understand the current trend for matt or satin finishes on cars painted or wrapped.

Enjoy your new car its a beaut  just not in my colour choice

I'd be curious to see what effect WD40 would have on this colour. Did wonders on Zermatt Silver....

Not the answer you are looking for, I know....

I bought some paint for the garden gate from Aldi last week, it's the same colour and cheap as chips.
The finish is great so maybe I'll use what's left to paint the 80 tdi ??.....give it that modern/primer look.
