At least £750 resale on just three of the parts! Looks like an ok deal for someone, probably some haggle room too.

MOT history makes for interesting reading.

The low price might lure some people in, but I suspect a 15year grind of a project and at the end it still wont be right. That's one I would personally avoid.

Will end up going to a breaker though I suspect.

Except this 2nd one is more original and probably less mucked about with so in my opinion the red one is the one to restore and the black one is the one to buy for parts and sell the later B4 front end bits to get your money back ! :D

'Suppose the red one's a B3 !! Although after selling the lights, bumper and wheels from the black car and buying standard lights, bumper and wheels there'd be money left over for parts to re-commission.......and it's still half the price of the red one?

Hope they both go to good homes regardless.

I certainly prefer the B3 red one with 93k (if correct mileage). But off the road for 10+ years, no mot and £1500 more or less?

Prices of both are encouraging though if either of them sell I’ll be surprised. As non-quattro models they will take longer to shift, being 5 cylinder cars should help all the same.

They are both B3's the B4 front end came out in the UK on the S2 in 1991 (well December 1990 for the press cars), the B3 shape coupe continued alongside the refaced S2 in the UK until early 1992 so an H reg 1st August 1990 coupe is definitely a B3 so the black car is modified to B4 front end.
