Are Clay mits any better than clay bars..

Bilt Hamber Auto Clay - soft.

You could call the guys at Elite Car Care. If you tell them what car, they will advise you on what type you need for your model.

I've used this stuff for the last 3 years, it was a recommendation on clean your car.com and is (easily) as good as the expensive stuff.

Well worth the effort overall

When i first thought of doing this i just went and bought Autoglyms stuff. Might be too expensive for some
but certainly works well with the detailing spray that comes in the box.

Just converted my Audi 80 from pink to red using Farecla G3 rubbing compound and an Autosmart dual head polisher. I started with their clay mitt but it was going to take too long to restore the finish although it definitely worked. My only gripe about the mitt is that it slips off the hand too easily in use. At least it can be washed and used again but if a Meguires clay bar falls onto the ground, it's supposed to be thrown away because it picks up grit.
Anyway, I'd 100% recommend the rubbing compound, it walked all over T-C*t.
