B4 Audi 80 2.0 16v

Located in Gloucestershire

Spotted this while having a wee nosey on Autotrader - very rare car, sought after spec and rare wheels, low miles and looks very clean - bargain for someone!

Short MOT and some paintwork issues but still a bargain in my book

The Autotrader ad gives much more description than the Gumtree ad ?

Seems a fine car though, low miles and looks VERY presentable..........short MOT shouldn't be a problem to most potential buyers at that price?

I would have thought a 16v would have had a more appealing front end but its just like a bog standard base model.

Otherwise quite appealing.

This car was on ebay back in April but I couldn't look at it as I was on holiday. It didn't sell but I contacted the owner and looked at it in late June/ early July. It was in the Forest of Dean.

It went well with good power but there was a knock from the front end, the rocker cover gasket had failed and was making a big mess (since done I understand) but that paintwork!!! It's pretty bad! I seriously doubt it would mop out. That was the deal breaker, although I could've had the car for £400. Otherwise, other than surface rust on stuff underneath it's a solid car with no rotten bits.

It needs some money spent on it to get it looking good that's for sure, but as already said, it's a rare car and is worthy of keeping up together and on the road.
