Developed an oil leak and upon investigation discovered damaged bores.:cryin:
So rebore is needed and will move away from the 7:1 CR I have been running.

Hey Chris, talk to these guys: http://wahl-spezialkolben.de/en/

Ive used them many times and theyre always fast and have supplied me with what i needed.
They can even make you a set if you need.

Thank you Tony. looking for Mahle as reknown for quality and have good oil supply design (so I'm told). Will bear them in mind though. What did you think of them compared with the Mahle and price wise?
I may well need rods as well - do they do them?

oops. Sorry

I used 'supertech' pistons and 'total seal' 2nd rings on mine.
Good luck with rebore. You seem to have more bad luck than most with engines!!!

Tell me about it. I don't even drive full on 100% of the time and always make sure engine is properly warm before putting my foot down. Perhaps that is where I am going wrong?
I think the pistons may have been found and in stock. will know for sure next week.
