Looks interesting, big brake conversion must have cost a few quid when new.

Raft of MOT advisories not very inspiring.

Some MOT tester's are different from others.....but an over observant type testing a car he's never seen before is only covering his a**e.
343k miles under it's belt though and 11 months ticket........it's been looked after to tally that up.
If it was closer I'd be chatting to the seller now!

I will have to make sure SWMBO does not see that one as it took 7 years and 200k miles to prise the last one from her, a truly great car. I can't tell whether this one is a red i (AEL) or not, although I don't recall the quattro being available in 115 bhp AAT form.

interesting old barge, and certainly fairly priced at £1500.

Worth a punt as a daily I would say

Yes Mark.
 It passed test on 28th Jan 2018....but;-
"quoting advisory notice"......
"both side inner sill's slightly corroded
both side outer sill's slightly corroded"

Some folks might shit themselves reading the above and move onto another car.

I read it as ; give it some wire brush action, brush with Ku-rust or other such rust converting substance, then apply some paint and carry on as before.

Quick clean up and off you go.

Occasionally i look at a cars mot on here, as i'm not buying, but on the odd occasion i have you still get moaning about discs
slightly corroded year after year peeps saying "oooh its not well looked after." On the one hand they want low mileage,
thats what you get when a car sits for long periods. You cant win!
