Audi quattro WR Lhasa Green

Just spotted Andy Biddulph's old Lhasa Green quattro on Carandclassic.co.uk which will be up for auction and expected to go for £10K-£12K. Anyone able to do the link for the ad?

Hopefully done for you Ken ;)

nice to see it went to someone who wanted it

Kenquattro 09-03-10 07:49 PM

Yep, a stunning car as well. Lhasa Green is a very rare colour on a quattro.

Now I like the colour and it is a very nice example, but I have to say ive seen it close up and dare I say I dont think its a 12 grand car....JJ and Petes set the standard for me.

It sure is.

My mate up in Inverness has a 86 Lhasa Green urq and this one is even more unique, it has an Electric Glass "slide" and tilt Sunroof. Not as in good nick as this one but still totally original.

Roger Galvin's Alpine White flat front 84 WR quattro, B+++AHM also has a sliding and tilting sunroof, but in metal.

Ang on,I thought the one up for raffle was Lago, cos it looked same as JJ's soapydildo wagon.
At least I think that was JJ's.

Not a million miles away, but definitely different. :D
Lhasa's more of a green, green. Whereas Lago is more a greeny blue.

I'm gonna throw in a curved ball. Rob Smiths from Chesterfield Pearl White Ur. Christ he has lavished some love on that car.
As for Andy's old steed, what a shitty outcome. I had very high hopes for that car.....?????

I get enough aggro from "she who must be obeyed at all costs" about having 3 cars as it is without having 4 :grr:

stuartmmcfc 10-03-10 09:24 PM

what was "the shitty outcome" with Andys car- I thought the sale had gone through no problems??

john johnson 10-03-10 10:10 PM

I agree boots, best wr by far and probably best quatty too. I just think it's a bit too dressed if youget my drift but stunning and a credit to him, there is not a wr to touch it

Kenquattro 14-01-15 11:21 PM

Any recent pics of this car?
