.
I cant own her forever and I need the money to buy another car.
I wont be leaving this forum though. You dont need to be an Audi owner to be here eh! I think I've priced her very fairly with regards to her rarity. Coxy valued her at £2000 this year and I have the certificate to prove this. |
:shake:
what are you planning on as a replacement Steve? |
I think you've priced her very fairly Steve, but are you doing the right thing ??
|
cheap as chips, especially as you have done lots of work to it and maintained it religiously.....
|
.
Thanks.
I thought if I priced her at this then she would sell, simple. Im probably going to go for a Honda. Im also probably not going to go to the dealer this time for parts!! :D |
Now if I was in the market for another Coupe, I think this would be coming home with me. Excellent value & the mileage really is nothing to worry about... not sure about the colour but the rarity of it, not to mention the good spec, would help me get over it.
It would complete my set... Saloon, Avant, Coupe! |

Daft question, are you selling it for £800, then buying a Honda auto for £800??? Or are you spending more???? Just cos if you spent more, then you could spend the difference on petrol instead. Does that make sense???? I.e. people bang on about "I can't drive my S2 cos it only does 25mpg, I'll spend £1000 on a TDI, and £250 on insurance, £200 on tax etc....." which buys a hell of a lot of petrol..... Whole life costing is what it is all about. You've spent all the money and now need to keep it for a few years to reap the benefits...... KEEPIT!!!!!! |

It's a lovely car for the money... |

Thanks Ian!
Yes,she is a corker of an Audi. The Honda is the same price as the asking price for the Audi, just much lower mileage and Automatic with Heated Electric Leather and Cruise. Shes going on Pistonheads now |

well done!

.
Hey thanks guys. That means a lot,it really does.
I went to see cars today, and Im taking delivery of my new "old girl" on Tuesday. Ive gone for that "a lot of car for the money" ethic yet again,as with this Coupe. Yes,I did go to Riceland and bought a Honda Leg End.Its 2nd generation,so sod all to do with Rover 800s!!! Shes a 3.2 V6 Auto with Electric everything, leather aerial and full service sunroof!!!! She is clean.BUT,so was Gelb when I bought her.She now needs years of crud removing from the paint and will then have a good base on which to place the polish, wax and Collinite. Shes on Autotrader, and is the less nice looking 4 door.I much prefer the Coupes but the convenience of the 4 door, and the fact that the dealer selling the Coupe was a complete wrist reciprocator helped me decide! So,pics going up mid next week And,throughout my ownership of this,my first Audi..THANK YOU EVERYONE SO MUCH FOR BEING SO FRIENDLY,HELPFUL AND NON POLITICAL. This,to me,is the best UK Automotive forum on the internet. Thanks Coxy! And why doesn't the Honda Forum have a flippin' :finger:emoticon!??:p |

3.2 V6 Honda. Don't they know feckall about engine sizes over in Fenland??? |
201bhp with total anonymity.
Always liked them but they're just a bit bland for my liking. Good car all the same. |
 one step closer to collecting a bus pass, some tarten slippers and a corgi
|
.
pmsl!!!!
Indeed,I thought **** the engine size!! Gonna just assume it to be my Exxon Valdez of a Ying Tong Jag!! Yes Steve thats the car. The colours lovely in the metal.Theres a bluey purpley tint in it,so even more a ghey grehey quotient in tint form!!! Coxy,Im about to PM your bottom and order some detailing gear. Yes,this canal barge is gonna take a good 3 days of Groomlurve. Not sure about machine polishing Jap paint  Make a good pimpmobile though eh!Now theres an idea:ihih::p:nod::tup: |
