Car transporter trailer for sale

Just a tester really. This has been very useful over the years but I just don't use it anymore and its pointless having it sitting around, going rusty. Plus it encourages me to get more tat.

Ive had this years and done load of work to it, recently rewired the lights and before that it was totally shot blasted, etch primered and painted.

a few scratches on it now here and there, but its still mint for a working trailer. The bed is 2mm sheet steel covering the whole deck of the trailer so its GR8 4 SCRAP. The hitch isnt very old and works great.

The tilting action works by removing a pair of locks on the front of the trailer and winding the tilting handle. The rear ramp folds down and makes loading cars very easy. Although the winch is missing the flat smooth bed means that damaged or even wheel-less cars can be pulled on if you fit a winch thats meaty enough. Its all very simple and easy to use.

I replaced all the brake shoes (very expensive auto reverse types) but these need setting up properly. The bearings all need adjusting too, a couple of dust caps have gone adrift so they could do with stripping and repacking with grease ideally.

Size wise ive had all sorts of cars on it from Robins to Jags, although it would have been a bit overloaded with a Jag.

This is a serious bit of kit for the hardcore shiter/scrap collector. It will make the new owner loads of dosh through weighing in scrap cars. Its up to about 100 quid a ton so this trailer will pay for itself in no time at all.

Price.. 500 POUNDS.

MOAR PICS TO FOLLOW.

Hi mate!

OK,one way to be 100% sure is to check the service book. Two Renault dealers got the DPL run of regges, along with PM regges that year.Im sure thats an 87 car,an early Monaco.

I worked at Mann Egerton Renault,Walnut Tree Close,Guildford,Surrey back then.
This is where I PDI'd many DPL plated cars,5 GT Turbos,GTA V6,25 Turbo/V6i..

It could be though that this was supplied by Wilsons of Epsom, where a different skinny apprentice runt would have done this:p

:nod::D

Lankytim 08-12-09 10:37 PM

Ill message the new owner and find out. I cant remember who the supplying dealer was but its got stacks of history with it, including paperwork from the supplier.

OK,would be nice to see her goin back on the road.

Always were nicely equipped,if a little wooly on the steering and well....not that well made..

Im always looking about for a clean R25 V6i Auto, some have lasted...

I have this "Lot of car for the money" list which I work through, owning cars on that list as I go along. This is one of about 20 odd cars.
