I will be taking this car apart at some point, I'm having engine, gearbox, brakes, suspension, roll cage.

If you want any random trim bits, or bits of bodywork, let me know.

Do you mean the external black bits around the windows?

Tarka is having the chrome door handle inserts (external), I may put the chrome pull handles on my van (for a bit of bling bling)

ah - hah, the roll cage. The reason for buying that particular car was the Dialynx roll cage. Its going in my 80CL (see readers rides), sorry I meant to say roll cage was not available.

The sunroof has gone too.

nah, the lower plasticy, rubbery door trim that's if it's got the chrome insert!

what kind of bumpers were on it? any pics? i'm after one of the facelift factory spoilers for the front bumper....

The bumpers are standard ones (not GL ones with fog lights), and all of the recinforcement has been cut out of them.

Someone has already asked for the spoiler on the "parts wanted" forum, just waiting for a reply.

ahhh, ok... that's not the spoiler i'm after anyhow... so don't hold it up for me. i'm after the one for the big bumpers.

when you say the interior has been removed; does that mean it's available?

Sorry, it was stripped out a long long time ago by the previous owner who used it for rallying.

However, the roll cage is for sale....

what about the speedo? is it the 135mph unit? that's 15mph more than we got here in the US... does it work and what's the mileage on it?

I'll have a look at the speedo. Never driven the car more than 100 yards. But I think it works.
