You should see the rear end of my 90q after I cleaned up some rusty bits while it was in the garage then moved it outside to get my speedboat in.
The elements haven't been kind the last few weeks so what was shiney metal with kurust applied has now went back to orange glory. :wall:

Yep. It is currently sorned. It was featured in Audi Press Pics as well as the famous Autocar & Motor And VW Audi Car roadtests in September 1989. It was reg in June 89 along with half a dozen more (I know for a fact there was F225,F226 and F228 BVV) identical cars. Andy James on here owns F225 BVV (now on different plate). They were Sports, but no mention of Sport was on the V5. The same applied to all of the 10V Sports. They were just classed as having Sport Equipment as an Option. It is only the later Sports from Aug 90 on that have Sport on the V5. The BVV Press cars also had the earlier 1989 Spec squarer stalks and different seat backs as per the 2.2E and 22226 KV quattro. I went to view F226 BVV in St Helens in Sep 2001 on about 130k miles. It was identical to F223. It was an absolute pile of shite to drive with no history, so I walked away. There was no history with it. It was up for sale about 1 year or so later in the Preston area. Classed as Unlicensed on DVLA now, so I presume it's dead. It was as good as dead when I drove it in 2001. Unfortunately there are some real shite ones out there.

Maybe that is why they were so rare? They were up against some iconic cars that are worth a lot more than them now. The car that got me into them was my friends Dec 88 10V Sport. That was the actual 1988 NEC Motor Show car, and had every option available except headlamp wash. My friend'd dad bought it at 8000 miles and just over a year old for £13500. I remember it felt like it was on rails and the satin quattro seats were to die for. Fast forward to 1994 and another mate bought a C Plate Alpine White WR quattro. That had done 111k miles and felt like a pile of shite after the 90 quattro Sport! Having been in a fair few newish at the time low mile WRs, MBs and RR's, I realise that the C Reg WR of my friends was just a shadow of the car it was new due to age and mileage. Attached is a pic of that 90 Sport 10V at 6 years old/100k miles and wearing a rather dubvious 20V badge. I have to date only seen one other car the same spec. That was F650 ROR which I bought in 2005. It is now owned by John88100 on here.

Ken.... are you a registrar for these cars? you seem to know where most of them are and have detailed knowledge of individual cars.

lol! No, I have just gained a lot of knowledge of them over the years. I am the same with ur quattros and 200s etc. I liked them because they were quite rare in their day, unlike the modern Audis. As much as I like the two A6s I have owned, they are everywhere, although I have never seen any A6s with the amount of Options my two have had! I am quite fussy when it comes to my cars.
