Urquattro - Oil Temperature Sender

Does any one have a Oil temperature Sender for a 1986 urquattro (WR) for sale.
I am having trouble sourcing one of these and I wonder if someone on this forum could help - Many thanks in advance!
I also understand that the same sender was also fitted to the early five cylinder engines in the range i.e 80s 90s 100s 200s Coupes etc ( Non Hydraulic)
The sender that I am looking for has a M18 thread and not the M22 thread which is more common on later models :)

Thanks again

Try your local dealer or Pete Reeves at www.quattrocorner.com

Hi Andy, nice to see you again the other week at CC... This is The Family Album page for the engine/head sensors... The Dual Temp Sender for your WR should be 056 919 369P, but I'd confirm this first.

Had a quick look at a few other models and the sensor hasn't shown up any commonality.

So I'd guess you've long since tried the other routes and found NLA...:(

Just had another rummage...

This is the 86 Coupe page

Can't find a reference to any M18 threaded oil temp senders though... Closest is the M22 on a RR (as you insinuated)...

This is the 81 Coupe page... It's the same page...

Ahhhhh that one Ian  Now I did some investigation last year, it seems it is fitted to some poxsters and was available from them last year  Cannot remember which model though except that it was an 85 turbo one, best taking it down to your local poxster dealers with said temp sensor in hand and ask please can I have 1 of these please ;) IIRC was about £30 ish

I bought a new oil pump recently, and it came with idler roller, crank seal, and the temp sensor already installed......

Part I require is NLA, thats why I am trying on here!
Steve - The part I require is No 14 on the Microfiche

On the UR parts diagram it's item 7

http://www.t85q.com/urTfa/Subgroups/engine.html

On the CQ / GT, it's also item 7

Or is yours one of the ones that screws in the side of the block?

Isimmo 21-08-09 10:00 AM

This one... (but as an M18)... (which it doesn't show)...

Sorry it's on the engine diagrams rather than electrical on the Ur for some reason...

Do you have the link for that, our filtering software (at work ) tends to remove images from Forum pages........

Getting back to th subject !!!
