What sort of postage cost for the shermans? Any leaks with these as Manitou have a history of quality seal issues.

These would fit nicely on the jump bike I'm slowly building up!

you will be able to reseal em your self anyway and save a shitload of cash, i have just repalced the seals on my mavericks and used to do my fox's.....dont let that put you off em....good price

havent got a clue on postage as i dont know where you live dave ???but thay are realy tidy and still come in the box , iv never had any seal issues with manitou forks ever and we have had 4 sets over the years ?? check your frame will take the steering tube as its not
1 1/8 its 1 1/2 but ill find out on postage if you are interested

the only reason we are selling the vanilla is because of this little bewty

kerker21 12-07-09 03:28 PM

its a good job our wills bedroom door has an mbc gas seal on it then , you better breath deeply then to clear the room for morning

Daveymaclad 12-07-09 04:27 PM

I didn't realise the shermans were inch and a half, no good for me I'm afraid! Build looks good though, but I've gotta say the frame looks might large, how tall is the rider, gotta be six and a half feet at least looking at it ;)

istoo 02-08-09 10:36 AM

as above, are the shermans 1.5 or 1.25?
did you get these TF'ed as well? tempted for the hardtail :)

kerker21 02-08-09 09:22 PM

ay up istoo thay have a 1 1/2 inch stem and thay are mint my 15 year old baught them in error didnt read the ad properly so we havent even had them on a bike , thay come in the origional box to

istoo 03-08-09 08:06 AM

are they breakout or breakout pluses?
Reason i ask is they havent been TF tuned then they will have the old seal setup if they are breakouts. No biggy, i have a set on my Yeti :) But sadly my hardtail is 1.25 so its ruled me out. However will ask around my bike mates, if you still have trouble shifting them shove an advert on singletrackworld.com

kerker21 03-08-09 08:27 AM

ta i was gona throw em back on ebay to shift them as no good to me anyway

istoo 04-08-09 09:24 PM

chuck me a pm or email address up here. my mates interested in them as a spare set.
