ups and downs
 

What a day,
on one hand had a good chat with jj , solved my aerial parts problem, had some good feedback about my car, got some cheap car mats from ebay that fitted and looked good and relaxed in the sun,
on the other hand had Wifes birthday celebrations screwed up by M1 being blocked which urned her 40 min journey home into a 2.5 hr one, her present didn't arrive anyway and to cap it all shoved the front of my fester well and truly into the side of one very angry womans frontera.
Oh well, tomorrows another day :)

We had a good time yesterday .........................good job we didnt go upstairs to those comfy seats otherwise people would start talking ;)

might well have been Trowel services for the wifes delay- she was in to much of a bad mood and close to tears by the time she got back to dare to ask!
fester has smashed headlight and will nead new bumper and grill and plenty of damage to pride :nonod:
mats were on ebay and while they're cheap and probably wouldn't last in constant use they fit, look ok and even have retaining holes to keep in place

At least if was only the Fiesta (if you need to look for a positive that's the only one I can think of for now!)

As for the mats, they seem cheap for what they are. Even if they ain't brilliant quality, for that price, who cares. Better than getting the original carpets soiled anyway.

JJ, AM Cars do/did some rather nice mats too, bit pricier though.

I've had better quality mats, but they've been much more expensive.
the thing that bugs me though is that the drivers one wears out- but the other 3 have hardly been used but you still have to buy 4 new ones. why can't you just buy the drivers ? :fire:

I have ordered a set just to tidy up....if they are crap its your fault!
