New guy...

Well amanda has pestered me to join and I have finally given in :p
I'm Jay, just 22years of age, fond collector of classic cars, I'm currently back at university doing a degree in motorsport and business management. Have worked in motorsport with engine building and competition car preparation as well as classic car restoration work.

I own numerous cars but noteably: 1986 Audi UR Quattro, Peugeot 205gti Mi16, Datsun 280zx (sadly being scrapped due to tin worm), also got a vauxhall viva HC deluxe to collect next week ;)

anyway thats me

Can't beat a nagging woman!! (well ya can but you could get arrested for it!!!)

Any pics of the 205???

Puglife 13-01-08 10:55 AM

I will put some up of the 205 if its allowed, considering its an audi forum :P
I may be selling my 205 off this summer after 4years of owning her to buy my neighbours White Type 85 Coupe Quattro (1owner, 150k, and completely original bar the wheels.)

I'll put up my garage photos of all the cars in abit coxy ;)

Nigel Conniford 15-01-08 09:00 PM

It might be a better idear as the ones from Ker were not that good

Puglife 15-01-08 09:01 PM

how much work did you have to do and what areas were poor fit?

Nigel Conniford 15-01-08 09:04 PM

Sadly the body shop did most of the work when i was out with the lorry, but the top edge by the A pillar was a terible fit 12 mm out the had to cut and remake this bit, panel gap to to the boor is also rather bad, but since mines a rally lookie like I wasnt that bothered:rolleyes:

Puglife 15-01-08 09:11 PM

mine will be factory clean standard exterior but rally tarmac prepared with full race interior... so i want exterior to be minty fresh and perfect (being a perfectionist is hard...)
