Shock mounts needed for RS2
 

I currently have H&R suspension on the RS2 and I need to change the shock mounts as they are past best and need replacing.
What are the best options and where can I get them from??

are you on about the top mounts ? as there was some on fleabay

Hi Coxy. I assume you are talking top mounts?? If so...

Genuine Originals without any hestitation. Im not sure if they are the same as the S2, I would imagine they are.

I fitted original Greens to mine and they are by far the best. Pleeeese dont go down the solid top mount route, they are rubber for a reason.....to allow us to keep our teeth over the bumpy bits!!:lol:

The fact that you have H & R shocks / springs has no bearing on top mounts unless you have alloy ones......which you ain't if I remember. Give Pete Reeve a call, he'll sort you out with a set.

have you got a pic of yours,the mounts are colour coded for differant grades i've fitted
green ones on my 80 with i think are quattro ones

Correct. Greens are the ones for S2 quattro that Audi will tell you are the only ones now available. The Blues are the ur ones which are the heavier duty ones, which will also fit. and ARE still obtainable.

got a genuine pair from TPS for just over £11.00 each.

I will agree with that, my teeth are still chattering from the trip to the Breakie club last month, there great for nice smooth tarmac but anything else its sheer pain :crazy:
