Silver 90 quattro on ebay
|
A very nice car, and rare with air con, especially working air con. Looks unmolested (apart from damage to bumper) and only minus is the lack of sunroof, but I am being picky.
|
It's a very nice car!
very very nice!! Drives lovely as well! Came with full Audi service history from day dot, all MOT's and stamped dealer service history. Needs a new front bumper to make perfect. Interior is immaculate and air con blows nice and cold! all in all, a superb car and well worth the money! and looks nice on my drive! |

And a 90 10v Quattro in Wales:D

yes, but does it have 48k on the clock!! and have sourced a bumper and trim already off Audibits so all good there! |
both them 90's are in deepest darkest South West Wales, and both need work and are high mileage.
|
Very true, not as good as your stunning example but still 90s, one of them has only made £50,someone will get a bargain,Coxy do you run an Audi museum?just curious:devil::tup::ihih::lol::lol::lol:

Factor in £250 for 4 tyres and a battery for starters. Then £40 for the MOT and £101 for 6 months road tax, then it's nearly £500 for a high mileage 90 quattro which needs a front fog as well. Plus it's as far away in Wales as it could get! |

Yes i see what your gettin at, its not such a bargain when you add it all up,for me i've got four tyres already and i'll do as much of the work as i can before an mot,i enjoy that part of it,so i end up sometimes with a car with a lot of miles that drives well and looks good and its got four rings:crazy::crazy::rock:like these

I would have said that was a big plus - no sunroof means no drains to get blocked, so no rust in sunroof or inside pillars, lighter stiffer bodyshell, less to go wrong and more headroom for tall people. How often do you use a sunroof anyway? On many cars at that time, cars with aircon did not get sunroofs and vice versa, unless specially ordered with both. Still, each to their own... |
I personally prefer a sunroof, and have owned 6 type 89 90s, all of which had a sunroof, 4 of which had the air con as well. It is just a personal preference. In the UK it is very rare for a 90 to not have a sunroof, even though it was an option. Air con is extremely rare on a 90.

I know of a 90 quattro up here but it needs a few things for its MOT, it did the 25th anniversary tour with the Q.O.C and kept up...and didnt miss a beat. needs brakes and service items. getting it down here is a problemo.....bit like this 90 q Coxy pounced on. Couldnt hope for a better home now its got plenty of "company" in Coxy's museum:D:tup: |

Will get the bumper and trim on it and sort out the minor dent in the front wing, and then set about doing a full detail. Interior is probably the nicest condition I have ever seen. No rips, tears, fabric wear, never been smoked in. Dash has a nice clean dull lustre to it. It really does look show room fresh. |
so.... are you selling it on then;)

Also recently sold my Karmann Ghia convertible so having a bit of a spending spree at the moment with the money from that! Technically, I haven't spent anything buying a car in the last 9 years and that's the way I like it! |

cannot keep up with you coxy, so why do you not buy a rare revo s4 in black with full audi service history, and all the toys or are you afraid of the beast
|
and why dont you shoot the dog, keep the car and stop moaning!!!!
let yous son pay the rest off, youhave sold your beloved coupe as a donor for A GOLF TDI get a grip man:rolleyes::rolleyes: you'll be buying that 90 on ebay for 50 quid next. |
Quote:
gotta agree with Rich. Let your son stand on his own 2 feet and sort himself out and keep the S4. If he was that skin, he should have just got a cheap run-a-round in the interim! You won't find another S4 like yours Gabe. Think twice before letting it go. |
Given what Gabes said to me this week..... his son is a lucky sod!!
Gabriel you sell the S4 and I'll be down there and plant my left booot into your crackers.... do you under stand me? no more bailing Gabriel Junior out.:hand::hand::ihih: |
