1998 A6 2,8 quattro for spares or repair
 

I am selling my Jan 98 Brilliant Black Audi A6 2.8 quattro manual saloon for spares or repair. The MOT expired on 27/03/09 but is taxed until end of Aug 09. It is a very tidy car especially for 193K miles. It will need the ABS Module replaced (About £150ish secondhand) for the MOT. It also has a leak on the steering rack, which is the expensive thing to fix. The good points are that it is a very high spec, full black heated sports leather with drivers seat memory, Bose and 6CD, Glass tilt/slide sunroof, cruise, factory phone in the front centre armrest, 4 very good tyres, brand new power steering pump 4k miles ago at Warrington Audi that cost £400. I am going to give it a good polish and clean tomorrow and take some pics that I can email to anyone interested. It needs to go asap so any offers considered, but no silly offers please! I have just driven it to Bromley in Kent today from Liverpool and back to collect my new A6, a 500 mile round trip, and it didn't miss a beat. It is now sat on my parents drive in the way. It has to go.

Ken, thanks ever so much for today - car is brilliant, much better than I expected and very very pleased. Did suprisingly better on fuel than I thought it would!!!
I'll get the niggles sorted this week and J73 can get the rest it deserves!
