Is it you that's selling it Donald?

Donald_MacIver 05-12-16 07:40 PM

Yes it is John, got it about a year ago but haven't found the time to even look at it. Would be a shame to scrap it as they're pretty rare.

John. 05-12-16 08:21 PM

Aye. Don't scrap it.

Donald_MacIver 06-12-16 01:48 PM

Could be put onto the ferry from Stornoway to Ullapool for £60 - £70. Also have a walk around video which I'm trying to get uploaded to youtube - the upload has crashed twice on me so don't know what's wrong

A desirable car & nobody should be put off by the mileage as it'll do over double that

Absolutely, and this example had a fully reconditioned engine fitted just 50,000 miles ago (receipt in the history file) after the cambelt snapped on the original engine. If I had the time and a few less cars around my neck I would put it back on the road myself.

I would sell it for £300 ono - worth more than that but appreciate the distance a prospective buyer will have to travel.

Cheers,
Donald

Get yer backside up to Lewis, pay the man some money, insure it, book it in at your local MOT place in Shrewsbury........and drive it down the road. If you get tugged by the boys in blue then explain that you've just bought it and you're driving it to get MOT'd.
If don't get pulled over then just drive it home.
Sorted.

An understanding MOT place will be an advantage!

Did you manage to sell this? Hope it found a good home. I'd wanted one of this spec a few years ago but never found one. Great car.

Donald_MacIver 31-01-17 11:05 AM

Yes, it sold - was bought for parts to repair a damaged S6 avant
