Urgent - Southern Meet Sunday - Henley

Hi Guys,

After a bit of concern regarding numbers Im pleased to say that I have just spoken to the landlord of the pub and he basically said "more the Merrier!"
Just a couple of things the pub opens at 12noon no earlier and only serves food until 14.00hrs.
Also he has reserved us a area in the main dining room so we can take it over.
He wanted to know if this would be a regular things as would like that so I said we see how everybody felt and let him know.

Anyway really looking forward to meeting you all, and god speed my fellow audi cocks!:finger:

I wouldn't worry, we'll be in the 58 plate Passat, with the dog, and the kids... So all hell should break loose... In fact you're welcome to wrestle with the kids and dog for as long as you please.

Martc 02-02-09 04:09 PM

Will be there in the CQ :)

And probably the worst vehicle ever on packed snow and ice is a 2.5 tonne 4x4 on tarmac tyres...

More Bentleys and Rollers around there, I used to piss them all off when collecting the milk from around Henley and Shiplake, even the farms are stuck up, there milk was only to be used by Marks and Spencer

ChrisG 02-02-09 08:22 PM

I expect to be there but as the 80 is SORN it will be in my B6 S Line or her B5 quattro T Sport

All things being equal, I should be at his door on the 18th Feb with 2 bumpers, one for Chezz in Preston and one for Jay....

Nigel Conniford 03-02-09 09:36 PM

There you go then Jay, if it fits, jobs a good one :halo:

Puglife 03-02-09 10:14 PM

any idea what its fitment is nige, did you buy it for the WR?? It looks to be right but then again most CV boots look the same anyway ;)

Ian - I may try get back to cheshire for the 18th seeing as your up this way, will have to put some overtime hours into the Skoda build this week to cover it.

I'll arrive on the 17th (probably the better day for me, to be fair), then working on the 18th, travel south on the evening of the 18th....(but can visit as a flying drop-off if needs be)...

VBR

Ian

Puglife 03-02-09 10:19 PM

I may see about spending tuesday back in cheshire then, I do have a fair bit to get on with so may be a viable excuse. I'll discuss further with you before the weekend ian.

Nigel Conniford 03-02-09 10:24 PM

It was for the WR Jay, so not sure if it would fit, but its just sitting around here collecting dust as the rally car will take all my money for quite a few years so quattroownership is a long way off

Puglife 03-02-09 10:28 PM

Well would it be ok to give it to Ian (figuratively speaking) and if its not right he can always pass it back to you :)

Nigel Conniford 03-02-09 10:32 PM

No worries, just remind me nearier the day to back it, as the memory is not as good as should be

Puglife 03-02-09 10:53 PM

321 498 203A is the repair boot kit part number for CQ
443 498 203A is the repair boot kit part number for UR

looks to be the same given the part numbers....

Martc 03-02-09 11:05 PM

You may find the hub nut does not fit......

Booty 04-02-09 08:20 PM

Nige what happened to the kitchen worktop? Did the Alsatians eat it??

steveb 04-02-09 09:32 PM

What car is it for ur or a coupe ? they are not the same
