Hi Andy

I got your message thanks, I may be able to help you out with the passenger under dash piece, can you let me know which part exactly, which part in relation to say the glovebox is it?

Thanks

Dave

Hi Dave,

The part i'm after i think anyway (no Ur at the moment) is directly under the glovebox that covers the wiring, runs from the passenger side door to the centre console, just a trim piece i think.
Thanks,
Andy

Yeah that's what I thought you must have meant. It's a bit of pressed fibreboard with some foam backing. Definitely have one, but need to remind myself whether it's spare or not (i.e. I have to have a look in my ur and see whether I have one in there!)

Ok cheers Dave, but don't give me yours if you need it!

There's no fear of that.... unless you were buying the whole UR ;)

I'm pretty sure I have the radiator side cover. Let me know if you still need it and I'll check.

I'm sorry, i don't have any of these parts available. The only thing i had was the plastic scuttle panel but it disintegrated in my hands when i took it off.

You could use an old piece of hoover hose for the injector cooler duct.

Cheers anyway, but these plastics do seem to disintegrate very easily even if the cars are upwards of 26 years old.

The under dash panels-

I made replacements, as mine had been very seriously knocked about.

Hardboard from B&Q
Foam was still viable, so scalpel to the rescue
Trim adhesive
Currently sat in the spares locker in my folks loft, awaiting the day when they will be refitted.

Hi ya, water deflector is available from Audi Tradition for 70 odd euros inc shipping.

Might just have to have a go at making my own, cheers.

Was this for R/H drive or L/H drive which needs adjustment to go around the clutch fluid reservoir. Will have a look, cheers.
