Micky 15-11-08 05:31 PM

john johnson 15-11-08 05:43 PM

in what?

Booty 15-11-08 08:29 PM

I would imagine if you are talking Audi then it will be either an S4 ( old shape ) or a A6 either a 2.7T Sport or the Allroad 2.7T. Either way thats not too bad as don't forget it's power at the wheels not the flywheel.

Micky 15-11-08 08:58 PM

its a audi a6 biturbo quattro

Micky 15-11-08 09:08 PM

just brought it i sold my bmw 1.6 which was gutless but got me to work.what decided it for me was when a fiesta overtook me :eek:o yes sorry about the A cars:o BUT AT LEAST ITS A AUDI WHICH IS THE MAIN THING:D

Booty 15-11-08 10:47 PM

229bhp will still get her ( and you ) down the road rather nicely.

100turbo c 16-11-08 11:24 AM

i thought these were 250hp and s4 had a bit more at 265hp?

Micky 16-11-08 11:32 AM

i just wonderd because the scooby i had was only a 2.0 single turbo and had 260bhp.

Take a look on 2.0 16v dohc engine in 3d gti golf and on 1.8 20vt in 4th gti golf and wonder, why there is 4 more valves and turbo for the same power :p :D

Its all about torque and rpm. 1.8T was detuned at 150bhp but had lots of torque from low revs unlike the 2.0 16V that enjoyed and needed a good thrashing...

Pretty good result for a car that had 250bhp as standard and that has now probably passed 100K...
Always thought when new that this was a low BHP value for a twin turbo 2.7t. Especially when the old S4 2.2 20Vt had 230bhp....
