coupe gt engine bay

thinking i need to spruce up the engine bay, has anyone got a picture of a concours engine bay for reference
for starters what colour would the rocker cover have been from new, i'm guessing black.
should all the suspension components be black
i don't think i want to go down the concours route as i want to use the car but it would be nice to try and stay true to what the car looked like when new
thanks mike

That is stunning. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have been that clean out of the factory!! Perhaps you need a greasy glove mark somewhere?

Seriously though that is immense!!
