If there is no paperwork you will not be able to register it on UK roads....

type81 06-06-11 10:35 AM

Couldn't you register is a "Q" plate though?

Tonks4x4 06-06-11 06:12 PM

Yes you could I suppose...

yeti 07-06-11 12:14 AM

Or find someone who speaks the language and apply for a logbookski?

sal 07-06-11 11:26 AM

Btw, the car can be registered in the uk with either a q plate or an age related plate. I have spoken to the dvla and they have confirmed this.

A v55/5 form needs to be completed, 2 forms of ID, Insurance, £55 registration fee, Road tax, car needs to be mot'd and there is a customs and excise form to complete but no fees to pay.

To register on an age related plate, evidence of when the car was manufactured needs to be submitted with the application. This can be obtained from audi uk otherwise the car will be given a q reg.

Understood Coxy, I would love to keep it etc but I've got too many cars already so some have to go
