Breaking 1994 Audi coupe 16V

OK, I am starting to break my old 16V coupe, everything is in good condition except for the rear bumper, rear panel and boot floor which are toast thanks to a knob jockey in a rover! Rest of the body panels are really good, no rust whatsoever!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...67/Audi16V.jpg

A few bits have gone already such as O/S window winder mech, O/S central locking actuator, and pipe from brake bomb to PAS.

Let me know what you need and I'll sort a price.

Sorry wheels, exhaust and clear indicator lenses are not for sale currently although maybe in the future.

I am off work this week so have a bit of spare time to grab bits off it if people need them quickly.

Thanks

Tim

Coxy 13-09-10 10:52 AM

also worth adding that if anyone is interested in anything on this car, it's is located at mine which is next door to the Breakfast Club meet on Sunday so if you need anything and are popping down, I'm sure Tim won't mind meeting you at mine and sorting out any parts needed.

Timo 13-09-10 11:00 AM

Yeah if anyone wants bits off it collection from coxy's is probably gonna be the easiest option, if anyone is down this weekend for the breakfast club or the rally car build I can meet up and sort things out then no probs.

Cheers Coxy me old cocker sparrow ;)

Timo 13-09-10 12:47 PM

JMLAudi, I have tried to pm you re: front bumper payment but your pm box is full. Let me know when you've deleted some stuff and I'll pm you details.

Cheers,

Tim

Strangelandeddie 13-09-10 12:55 PM

Can you give me a price inc. poatage for the o/s wing.

Isimmo 13-09-10 01:04 PM

Any idea (anyone) if the PAS pump is the same as an ABY S2?

Timo 13-09-10 01:21 PM

Strangelandeddie - How does £40 sound for the wing? P&P will be on top of that but I will have to remove the wing first and get a quote (if I can find a courier who will send body panels )

Isimmo - I don't know on that one I'm afraid. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me on here will be able to help.

Isimmo 14-09-10 01:17 PM

What is the engine code for the old girl, if you don't mind me asking?

davow 14-09-10 01:46 PM

Hi, Im after a window relay for my 80 avant 363 A40 959 257 dont supose its the same as in the coupe?
cheers dave

Timo 14-09-10 06:06 PM

Isimmo - engine code is ACE I believe.

davow - No idea whether its the same as an avant sorry. I can grab it if you like but I'll need pointing in the direction of it please.

boabskiboab 15-09-10 08:10 PM

I could use the headlights and gearknob if in good nick, pm me prices please.

Oh and the centre grill that is right under the front number plate.

FSARoyster 16-09-10 05:30 PM

car's at mine (next to RAF Cosford).

where is Shropshire are you?

Timo 22-11-10 10:50 PM

What he said.

Yep both the front wings are still available and are in really good condition. I was toying with the idea of holding onto the drivers side as my 8V may need it in time but if you are serious we may be able to do a deal. ;)

ringoosmeg 23-11-10 12:11 AM

Timo, Coxy,

Im in Loggerheads, so about 25 minutes from Cosford.

Yes i am inerested in both wings as mine have the dreaded tin worn on the bottom of the arches above the bumper.
I only want to fit genuine wings...I cant stand using pattern parts.

Im out of the country until Saturday night, but let me know what you want for them, and if its Ok I may poke about and see if there is anything else I need.

Many Regards

Ringo (Simon)

In our road theres several A4s, A6s, Coupes, and a 80, even the Chinese take out also has a 80 Avant!

Cheers

Ringo

SkinnyMan88 23-11-10 05:55 PM

Looks like I've missed the wings :(

If things don't work out, I'd be very interested in both of them.

Are the amber indicator lenses still available? And the o/s headlight? Oh and the rubbers at the bottom of the doors?
And remember I'm a poor student! :p

Looks like a very tidy motor, seems a shame to have to break it.

Will keep you posted if ringoosmeg doesn't have the wings. Also o/s headlight has sold, amber indicator lenses are still available, and when you say rubbers do you mean the slide on exterior trims atthe bottom of the doors? If so yes they are available, they are not perfect but not really bad either.

Let me know if you definately want any bits.

Oh and yes it was a very tidy motor unfortunately a chav in a rover 25 rear ended it and wrote it off for me. :(

How much do you want for the indicators (i'll just take one if you're willing to split them, only need the o/s) and the slide on door trims (both)?

I think I'll be going to the breakfast club in dec, could pick them up then.

Timo 24-11-10 05:59 PM

Yep I can bring em to the brekkie club no probs, how's £20 sound?

ringoosmeg 24-11-10 06:04 PM

Timo,

You quoted a price for the wings at £40 each in the first couple of notes in your thread, if your OK with that and they are rust free, then I can do a deal on them.

Can you email me your number and I'll phone on Saturday morning on my return from Poland, to arrange a time for pick up, (Some time Sunday if thats OK), or possibly during the week after work....
Many regards

Simon (Ringo)

Snoopafella 25-11-10 08:26 AM

What style are the door card trim strips?

Timo 25-11-10 01:28 PM

Door cards are dark blue jaqcuard with matching dark trim caps ie: not wood.
