I had a grifter XL !!!!!!!

I couldnt afford a fancy BMX so i got hold of a couple of old racer frames and made my own.

Went bloody good too! Never broke, never let me down and didnt cost much either! :)

Same here. But then I eventually got hold of a second-hand Mag Burner BMX, and was over the moon! :D

didn't get my first BMX till I was 25!!
It was an old racer with cowhorn handlebars when I were a lad, and by the time BMX's first came out, I was in to boobs not bikes!!

Are you kidding, they weighed about eleventy tons!

I had a 10 years out of date racer as a kid, still loved it though & took great care of it too.

BMX's were bike's only dreams were made of, particularly the Vektar... dunno where I'd have seen one as a kid?

I had a BMX rattlesnake, heres the German equivalent called the "annaconda"

My BMX was a hand down from my brother who went and bought a mountain bike with gears, i later got that handed down to me as well, lol!

I had a Grifter.wedged a nail into the toggle-chain to hold it in second then put BMX front end on it....Wheelied nice but too Heavy to race......First of MANY Mods...;)
