Having a BIG clear out! Audi 80, 100, 200, Coupe GT, 80 sport, 100 avant, ur quattro!

As winter approaches and space becomes a premium for storage, I have realised that I have too many cars and some must go to make room!

Problem is, I have 14 cars booked in for winter and only 9 spaces, and my cars don't pay the bills. I could stick them outside, but I'd rather not to be honest.

If anyone is interested in any of the following them please drop me a pm.

1977 Audi 80 GLS Estate PROVISIONALLY SOLD

http://www.classic-audi.co.uk/forum/...&pictureid=885

It is a project, but it's the only known facelift Mk1 Audi 80 estate in the UK, and as they were only made for the UK market in RHD, it is probably the only known one left in the world!!! £900

1988 Audi 100 CS Sport

http://www.classic-audi.co.uk/forum/...&pictureid=627

This is an extremely tidy example of a much appreciating Classic Audi. Sadly most have been robbed of their precious Fuch's but this comes complete with a near mint set of them! The car has 118k on the clock and has a huge history file. You'd be hard pushed to find a nicer example in the UK! Will be sold with 12 months MOT. £1495

1982 Audi Coupe GT quadlamp

http://www.classic-audi.co.uk/forum/...&pictureid=881

Finished in helios blue, this is a very very tidy and low mileage example of another appreciating Classic Audi. Only has a very low 74k on the clock. Had MOT in March this year then was dropped back off and put back in to storage so has done less than 10 miles since last MOT. All totally stock. Cookies have been professionally refurbished by lab tap in Birmingham and are spotless. Only thing this car needs to turn it in to a show stopper are the seats. As usual with a lot of early Audi's both seats have bolster wear.
This comes with a huge history file, including original bill of sale!! £1995

1982 Type 43 Audi 200 5E (non Turbo).

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...0/Audi2006.jpg

A month ago, this was the only known RHD Typ 43 200 MOT'd on the road in the UK. The MOT has run out and it will need a small amount of welding on the sills to pass.
Cosmetically, it will need work to make mint. Both rear arches are past best and gaffer tape rules the day. New arches can still be purchased for about £22 a side. Bonnet has crazing so will need paint to make tidy and o/s/r door top has some homes which would need attention although only cosmetic and not structural. The engine really is like a sewing machine and only has just over 60k on the clock. Interior is near mint and comes with the original seat cushions as well. £1995

more pics of these can be found in my albums or can post up more upon request.

If anyone is interested in any of these, please feel free to drop me a pm!

Nope!!!!!
Only just got that project started and I've got a feeling it's going to eat away a lot of beer tokens so selling a car or 2 will also mean I can go engine hunting for something near 300 horses!!!

Suspension will come in at about a grand as well :nonod::nonod:

The thing is, in all my years, I've bought cars which have been done or had cars restored to stock, but I have never really built up a car from scratch to how I want it. I have a blank canvas and a head full of ideas and really would like to get in to hill climbing events before I'm too old to do anything with my life and I'd like to have a car built up to my spec!

I doubt very much it will be to a lot of peoples tastes, but at the end of the day, it will be built to enjoy and put a smile on my face!!
Although there' will be a lot of frowns on my face during the build up I can assure you!

suppose i could dump all the wifes junk in the garden...

At present I have 7 people interested in the estate.
Can supply dehumidifier at cost as well!! Can also fit it in the boot to save on postage:lol::lol:

Whoever buys it will have the only one known on the road!

Rarer than a Gullwing Mercedes or a Bugatti Royale!

missfire 25-08-10 10:49 PM

i have the dehumidifier already..!

7 useless buggers that wont cough up..?() of is it a 'names in a hat' lucky dip...?

It would be nice to think so, but I do know Audi UK have a few rare cars currently stashed away at a restorers place in the Northants area and it includes and F102, F103, NSU Ro80 and a C1 Audi 100.

Donald_MacIver 26-08-10 03:41 PM

Just seen your 82 Coupe GT Quad lamp featured on a Fifth Gear programme, it had 72K on the clock when they filmed it, and they said it was owned by a guy who worked for Fifth Gear.

Was that you by any chance???

Stunning coupe, i would have it if i had the space to store it!

Coxy 26-08-10 04:08 PM

It is, they have one in West London Audi and another one currently awaiting restoration.

harmeetjohal 26-08-10 04:09 PM

they only have the 2 door at west london

'77 80 Estate is provisionally sold.

Had interest in 2 of the others as well, but no sniffs on the Typ 43 as yet.

Going to be whittling down again in the next day or 2 as I just can't justify keeping too many cars and I'm never going to get chance to use them all or enjoy them so if there are any forum members who are interested in any, please let me know.

Keepers are:-
80 quattro (currently in build)
90 sport 20v
CQ20V
100 coupe S

everything else will have a price tag over the next week or 2.
This means the Sanyo quattro will also be up for sale. I've enjoyed owning it and I've had it for coming up to 2 years now, but I'm going to be building an 80 quattro to my spec for motorsport use (Hillclimbs) as I've never actually built a car up to how I want it, (well apart from my 914), but it's a project I really want to get my teeth in to.

Yup, time to build my own!!
Although it won't be a recreation and I'll be using my company's colours for the colour scheme for it as it will be my company sponsoring it! Free advertising!!

Not Elite Detail, but CEVL, but the colours are fairly similar. Going to be 2 shades of blue and either grey or black.

Micky 30-08-10 09:12 PM

looking for offers around £9995 for it.

Given the handful of poorly executed recreations which have been on the open market over the past 18 months, I'd say this is 1000% better than any of them.
Since I've had it, I've replaced at the springs and shocks.
It now has Bilstien 25% uprated springs on it.
Pretty sure the shocks were Koni's but will check.
It transformed the ride completely to be honest and cornering now feels really firm.
Also, I have changed the brakes for G60 calipers.
