sounds like front wings are going to be a tough one! :( |
Damn, we need pics!!!
You've probably got more chance of seeing God than getting some wings for this! Find a good metalworker/panelbeater. There's a few old skool guys out there who maybe able to help. |

the front wings are really toast! i've been restoring cars for 15plus years and wouldn't atempt repairing them but like you say i'm sure a proper old school panel beater could. |
Audi 80 1968?, didn't think they made them, 60,75 and super 90 possible. If it's one of these in variant v.rare!. I'm in Dubai for a few days, get a picture posted, I know someone in Germany who's into these and maybe able to help, but there are very few around in the uk as they were only sold through NSU agents. They are a bit more common in Germany but the price of NOS wings may be shocking. The cost of restoring it may vastly outway what it is worth, we're all mad!!!

Tim, these are the same as the 60 and 75 of the same period, I'm not sure they are the same as the super 90 (these were the last of the model with uprated engines etc).
a firm in Germany do repair panels, but as you said they are pretty far gone, try ak-autoteile. The only problem is I don't think he will post to uk, or he didn't. I brought some repair panels for a 100 a couple of years back and collected them on a trip. I'll ask my mate in Germany if he has a set that he will part with, if he has I'll be seeing him in October at the Mannheim autojumble so could bring them back. Otherwise look on German ebay, much more common over there Stu |
