Less than that! It'll be sofa stuffing and bodypanels for a BMW in ten!!

Great advances in technology in new cars, but no quality or longevity.

And in thirty years, everyone will have forgotten about One Direction and I will still be listening to Duran, Petshop Boys and Spandau, on my yellow waterproof Sony Walkman, whilst rocking backwards and forwards in my chair in the retirement home, staring at pictures of Linda Lusardi and Audi quattros!!

[quote=SteveT63;298943]Well, I've got the nickname of Analouge Steve at work due my 80s transportation I grace the car park with, on occasion!!

Today though, I've been lucky enough to mix the 80s, with the very latest technology!! I've spent all day in the new Jaguar XJL Ultimate, listening to the Duran boys, Seven and the Ragged Tiger album, with a sprinkling of Tears For Fears, through the iPhone and into the big cats stereo..

Thought you'd be listening to Zenyatta Mondatta or Ghost in the machine?

It was a time of terrible music, terrible hair, terrible clothes, mostly terrible cars and most importantly absolutely terrible values. Not a good time to be a human being unless you were one of the ones prepared to forsake everything in the name of selfish personal gain. It was a sh*t period in the history of the human race, the beginning of the end.:wierdo::lol:

Just about the only good thing about the eighties were the cars made by the Germans at the time, and they were all driven by dic*heads!:confused:

exactly

As a veteran of 8 of their concerts, they are in the phone alright, along with their debut, Outlandos d' Amour, Regatta de Blanc and Syncronicity
