The power is for 1551 or 5051 when theres no mains available. Vagcom doesn't need power as the laptop has its own.

yup. as kully said, disconnected it and it runs like it did before. fault mode. so ive ordered a new MAF from MRC in banbury 2day, shud be here within 10days n fingers crossed it'l work n the bentley will b bak on the roads of bham causin havoc :rock: cudnt bleave that audi chargin £800+ :grr:

hi all. just a lil report on this thread. finally fixed it and shes back on the road but afta a load of faffin about with changin fuel filters, sparks, lil thing in the boot etc etc we came to the conclusion that it was the air flow.....hmmm picked 1 up from mrc for £250 including delivery. so when it arrived i slotted it nicely in place, turned the key n...what..? why is it still chuckin black smoke n missin?:idea: took her outside to see under the hood in abit better light and what do i find...the samco hose off the intercooler into turbo had popped off...i dont know how 5 of us managed to completly miss it!!! think we need to go specsavers! anyway...so tightened it bak on n runs sweet...boost alot harder now actually! anyway i jst wanted to have a moan : its all goooooood. thanks for all ur help all.
