Drove to Grays in Essex last Friday and it didn't miss a beat, 100 mile each way, to get a new front end for my daughters Sirocco .

Don't want it to go, have to see .

It's a lovely car and i genuinely think you'd regret it. The other thing is, in red they look special - especially shod with Boleros but thats just my idea of perfection. Just buy a beat up cheap van.

I remember the coupe, remember when it was up for sale and it's price before you got it. Well you know me, i like originality or oem++ a nice set of wheels, but appreciate some love period mods.

If it was me i'd keep the TT because it's top of the range and a bit special. But that's just me. Maybe somebody might want the 80 Coupe of you?

Sorry Mark, i must have just gone off site when you posted this.

Yep hear you on all points

I know, :yikes: i've tried to get him to keep it. I'd hate to see it go and miss seeing that superb paint job he'd have done on it.

We will just call him "PLANT POT" if he sells it !

Swapping front wings on the TT isn't a big job though - a couple of hours per side should have it done. I haven't done sill covers on one, so I can't comment on those. Could you get get the wings painted first, so that all the edges are covered properly? And maybe the sill covers too.

I've done the passenger side wing on mine, that took me an afternoon because I've never done one before and had to drill some fasteners out, but it wasn't a massive job. I have a replacement drivers side wing to go on, but I really should sort some MOT stuff first.

So putting on a Brucie mind, it reads;...........Daves been humping bags of cement in the coupe :yikes:
but thinks an estate might be more comfortable - however marks not sure?:lol::lol::lol:
