Is it Trooper did you say? My dad bought one with a blown engine (3.0 dohc TD, apperantly common!) as it was "cheap".... It wasn't! The brand new engine I built and fitted for him cost something like £6k+ with the new injectors, turbo and all the other bits! All finished but he's still not used it, are they any good? It is just sat there and seems a waste. They're just not worth anything like what it stands him at now, shame really.

Frankley services on the M5 (between J3 and J4) is as good a place as any so I'm gonna make a suggestion that we be there ready to leave at 10am as it's 52 miles to Cherwell Valley services (J10, M40) so will arrive there in readiness to leave at 11am for the final drive to Henley on Thames. It's 35 miles from Cherwell Valley to Henley so if we leave around 11ish, we should be there around 11:45.

Let me know if you're going to join us en route and pop yer names down here (and where you intend on meeting us!)

Coxy - Frankley

Coxy - I know its a bit early but are you still plannning to stop to meet up at Cherwell Valley?

Have we decided where to meet and at what time? I'm coming from Derby.......

Coxy 06-02-09 08:24 AM

wel,, still 10am at Frankley and 11am at Cherwell, but as you say, it may be limited by the weather. I'll make a choice on Sunday morning at about 9am! Anything could happen between now and then!
