I wonder what that white 90 20v sport sold for on here recently?:confused::confused:

Firstly, I doubt anyone would pay £2500 for it, secondly nobody wants URS4s, hence their modest value. I think they are a cracking car, but facts are facts. I certainly wouldn't pay £2500 for that red 90. I paid £2250 for J73 back in 2003 at 133k miles and it was completely mint and unmolested. I thought that was top money for it at the time.

Thanks Ken..... so its not just me thinking the seller is trying it on!!

(someone donate me a gearbox and I can keep my UrS4) NO TRANSACTIONS has taken place yet curtesy of the postal service being on strike.

no one may want one.... but I DO :finger::finger:

Also look at the prices of ur quattros compared to other Audis. 200 quattros are worth peanuts, ditto V8s. It is quite ironic that the ur quattro used to depreciate heavilly when new, 20V included. In 1993 a 20V would have cost less than a good 20V now, and with less mileage!

I have, but Ben's cheque hasnt arrived yet.... something to do with your postal strike I suspect.

Failing no appearance by mid week next week the Ben will be paying me when I see him at the ADI.
IF his cheque arrives AFTER adi then I just rip it up. I wasnt exactly planning on selling the car BUT due to the problem with the 'box I was between the trees and a hard place. I found a replacement box but cant afford to buy it, get it to Ben and swap them over.

Tell you what though... I'll be having first call if and when He sells it. Ben promised me that he intends keeping it once sorted out.... if not I'll be having it back:hand:

I would stick it on the never never... but thats not really an option at the moment, besides the insurance is due up end of Oct ober for me and the work done recently could do with being done again.

Front struts are weeping already so in hind sight I am glad I didnt buy new other wise the money spent to get it through its MOT I may as well just GIVE Ben the keys which in effect is what I have done.

Anyway back to this 90 q20vs the owners pal has flagged up on audifans.net if your interested Ken:tup:

its worth what people are willing to pay for it!

i said this on audifans as well, as these are getting rarer (same goes for any classic audi really) ie S2 good examples will fetch considerably more than an average condition car just because it is in good condition. And being fair judging on the photos this appears to be in exceptional condition.

its had a respray at some point. including new front wings from audi, note the lack of side repeaters on the front wings. Thats how they come from audi, and you cant buy pattern front wings for these.
Very nice looking car though
