An '07 Trek Madone 5.2 for me Steve with a triple. Although I very rarely use the granny ring. Mostly spinning the big ring and middle for the hillier climbs. And an '06 Mongoose for the offroading or for road use in the winter months. I also have a an '04 Saracen Tour road bike. Needs new gears and chain. Having just replaced the chain, carrier, cassette and rings for the princely sum of £200 quid on the Trek I'll leave spending on the Saracen for a while. Althoughit is a nice bike for hacking around on. Maybe an ideal conversion to a fixed :)
Go spinning 3 times a week to. That has really improved the fitness and stamina. Rode to the BC this month. Round trip of about 65 mile in just under 3 hrs so was quite happy

pretty fast for an oldie!!

I used to do 100 miles (Peak District) in about 6.5 hours when I were a lad. Now I am happy with an average of 14mph when commuting (some 150m climbs on the way to work)
