What do you fiends think?
|
Looks fine to me, however i dont think its a good idea to have folks sitting on the bonnet to save on lowering springs... plays havoc with yer forward vision. :)

Tis right IMHO...
If you can get the old girl down 25/40mm she'd set those off beautifully... |
I might have to go all out with coil overs. Big $. If I had to guess.

Aternatively Spax do a 35mm drop kit for CQ's, so it's possible they still do the Type 81 kit too... |
My type 81 Sport has Eibach ( no longer made.... ) and they were 40 mms.Picture in my gallery

Chris, looks like a nice ride height. Looking into options now. Any idea how long yours have been out of production?
|
Two or three years I was told.
Koni used to do very similar but again no longer I was offered by the UK importers the possibility of a new set by the UK importers ( mine are rusty) at £240 per spring !! However I'm going back to them to check, in case it was £240 a set ( perhaps something losy in the trenslation from German to English) as I have found a place in th e UK that will do a set for £175 + tax.... but they need an original front & rear spring to copy. |
