There is better way how to check cold start injector - remove it, when engine is cold, then crank engine and look, does this injector sprays fuel or not. And to check if it's not leaking, just unplug wire from it. Only disconnect center wire from distributor and target injector at safe point ;)

cold start

Only problem with this is having fuel spraying everywhere, having then to plug the hole in the manifold and possibility of damaging the fibre gasket. Have you tried starting it from cold with the cold start injector unplugged altogether to see if it makes any difference?

Everywhere? Have u ever seen one nozzle in action, really? :D Goddamn it, british fears from fuel are unmeasurable :D Just extinguish your cigar, and nothing will happen :D :D

its the thermotime switch on the back of the block and i agree with removing the cold start injector and cranking it over , if its goosed it dribbles if anything at all. if it works fine it gives a nice light mist or puff of fuel for a few seconds approx just to get it running . been there and done that on one of the wr's this year
