diesel flush.

i heard of that, not tried it on a car yet but did it on a lawnmower to see what happened and it worked for sure! tons of crud came out!:tup: then i thought i'll pour the diesel out on this pile of sticks and try to light it...:yikes: try.....!!! hot diesel, went up like an effing hydrogen bomb with me standing over it..:lol::wierdo:

Its perfectly OK to run DERV in your engine as a flush for a very short period.
Certain high end dealers have been known to do so....

Wish I'd thought to try this myself,before putting in a Mann Filter and 3.5ltrs of 10w/40 BEFORE posting this thread!LOL!

Oh well,I know what to fit at 142k so thanks.:tup:

Ricky,I'll pop over for a cuppa and some red diseasel in a few months matey:p

B2 80 1.6 engine is 3.5 litres. As is the 1.8 DZ.
