BUMP!!

Hey, has anyone got a resistpr pack for the injectors - I'm desperate for one. Or does anyone know where u can buy them new? NO ONE seems to sell them now

Sorry Ben, not had a second to look yet, Up at 8am yesterday and up to Mother in Laws in Lancaster till after 10pm clearing the house out. Will look tonight as soon as I get back. Fingers crossed I've not chucked it. :o

no tax or test and no bids so could be got cheap. Might be too good to break but if ya do, I'll have the fanny mold and the spare speedline wheel!:tup:

I am gonna call the 90 sport and buy it! That has all the bits I need. It looks tidy enough.

I have just managed to effect a temporary repair! I have patched the wire from the failed internal resistor (in this case cyl #4) and patched it into the outputs from cyl 3 & 5. I have then connected 1 & 2 together as this levelled out the resistance of all 5 outputs to 5.6ohms - spec is 5.0 - 8.0 Ohms...Runs like a dream! The injectors are switched on thier earth by the ECU so the resistor pack merely gives a constant power feed so there's no harm in bridging them. It's no long term fix as going to put extra load on remaining ones so I'll have the bits but I can drive her home tonight!!

Going to set about making some injector fitting adaptors in my dad's shed at the weekend on the lathe..... Going to fit some newer Audi S8 injectors. Should be better long term. Bloody poxy Hitatchi bits - Everyone I called today just simply laughed at me! Audi said, and I quote, "don't they make like Tele's n stuff......" :wall:
