Just got to say to Phil and Lorraine, what a superb job you have done on putting on this show. I've done shows and events for about the past 15 years from small meets to 3000+ and I know how much effort it takes to get things to go smoothly. I know you had a few stressy moments with people wanting to move cars etc, but that aside, it has to be one of the best organised show I have been to in the past 15 years (and I've been to a lot!)
The superb mix of cars makes it different to the usual VAG show and it's nice to have a look at Merc's, BMW's etc etc.
Long may it continue!

All we want to do is put on a show which i would be happy going to.Having lots of cars,but quality as well.Combined with that,food and drink that make people want as much as the cars.
Next year is booked and 9 clubs have re-booked their stands allready.We have also booked 2014 and 2015 dates with the venue.

Hopefully, I WILL have the 80q finished by then! Felt like a total outcast parked with them 911 boys! The look on their face when I was squeezing that dirty old go-ped in the back of my 968 was superb as they were busy polishing and cleaning their pride and joys!

Yep! Stripped down the carb on Monday evening, the plasticky/rubber plunger thingy was gunked up and after my efforts to clean it, I managed to split the rubber, so quick trawl on eBay, complete new carb for £12.24 including postage.
Tuesday morning, arrived Wednesday morning. 10 minutes to change over and fit new carb and away we go!!

Won't be winning any races with it but I'm sure it'll put a smile on my nephews face this afternoon!

Never mind another time :) No Megsy did not go due to other obligations such as wife and family :)

A BIG thank you to all who once again supported this event making it once again a huge success with around 350 vehicles on display.Together with the Charity dinner on 13th October which saw 285 people enjoy great food,drink and entertainment as well as good company,you helped raise a grand total of £5680 for our nominaed charity which this year was Wigan and Leigh Hospice.
