Some brilliant pictures, thanks for sharing everyone. Congrats to the 'organisers' of the cruise / stand and associated goings on. It looked like a blast. Here's hoping I can join in next year. *applauds everyone* Well done.

My first time there. Was always going to be a bit of a hard act to follow with the last one being AITP (which was the best show I've ever been to) but it was a good event. I think it could be improved by a bit more to do and see- more trade stands, maybe some sort of presentation arena with a commentator I have seen work well at other events. Out of our control I appreciate but they gave us a poor pitch behind the Cafe I thought which meant we didnt get that much interest in terms of visitors browsing our cars and me and a few others couldnt find our own pitch on arrival.

Negative points out the way though the trip was made worth while for me for the Parade Laps alone- that was great fun. I'm not one for thrashing my slow, soft, old motor round in a track day type environment but I thought worth a go at the lunch time parade for £10. I was thinking it would be follow my leader, 3rd gear at 30mph all the way round for one lap. I was pleasantly surprised to see the pace car go throttling out the pitlane and everyone going hell for leather! It was just the right balance for someone that wants a bit of track fun but doesnt want to thrash their car. The train of cars would speed up round 1-2 corners giving you the chance to push the car a bit and break a bit of traction but then would come to a complete stop to allow everyone to catch up again meaning you were not destroying your car for the length of a whole lap. We also did around 4-5 laps when I was expecting one lap which was great. On top of this you get photographers taking photos of your car out on track against such a great back drop. For £10 I would certainly recommend it.

Great day as usual. My favourite day of the year, apart from my wedding anniversary, obviously..

Great set of pictures and thanks to all for sharing.

Reference the 80GT, I presume that belongs to Audi ? Obviously a garage queen as has virtually no MOT history apart from the past 3 years in which time its done 46 miles...... a museum piece I guess?

Yes definitely the car to "have again". Versatility, style, economy, practicality, performance, comfort, it ticked every box for sure.

Yes its part of Audi UK's classic collection but it wasn't like this when they bought its been subject to a total restoration.

Interesting that its number plate is "AJ" area code same as member mjs4x4 GT

There was some lovely old metal on show , I do get fed up of all the new stuff I'm afraid , it just bores me, don't not know why , too biased I guess...?
Your 100 2.0 was in fine fettle Dave, having looked at its arse for a good while through the lanes ;)

Right with you on all those points Chris I did have a chuckle at the RS3/S3 line up, good turnout for sure, but it did remind me of a Dulux colour chart :lol::lol:
