I dont know of any mods that can be done to the ufos, however the later type brake set up from the ur s6 will fit and discs and pads are more readily available. Contact Ian Simmonds off this forum who is currently breaking an m reg one, he should be able to sort you out.

My friend Dave Swift (audicoupeparts) suggested I contact you.

I have a 92 URS4 Avant (AAN) with a UFO front brake upgrade. The disks are now very corroded both on the inner and outer edges and the pads are getting low. On the back of the car the disks are also looking corroded on the inner and outer edges so it looks like I'll be needing to replace soon.

The car doesn't get driven particularly hard (as I have a boosted small block chevy V8 for that) so there's no need for me to be spending loads of cash on Porsche calipers. I was wondering if some standard disks and calipers could be made to fit the UFO struts, otherwise what sort of struts/disk/caliper combination should I be looking for?

Obviously I want to keep the cost to a minimum but I was wondering if its worth buying second hand (with the risk of corrosion and seizure) or whether its best to go with a cheap aftermarket product. Again, any advice would be appreciated.

Wheels are 16".
