Hi. you seem to know a lot about audi's. My quattro's battery light came on the dash. The voltage reading in the center console went from green to red. This happened after I braked hard. Now the battery charge on the testing was 12v so I suspected the alternator. This was tested and shoed to be ok. So what else could it be?

Hi mate,spoke to the owner of the two Barn Quattros today.Car 1-1981 X plate in Venus Red with 120k on it.It is RHD.
Car 2-1982 Y plate with 42k on it but in a stripped down state.Think it is Helios Blue.It came from a salvage yard in York some years ago and had some damage to rear quarter and leg.I am going up next week to have a look and get some photos.He has no intention of selling as he is going to restore them both.However in the same breath he admitted he has no time whatsoever.
