As i said its my dads 2 door 1975 80 gt twin choke Carbureter model its "Cliffegrune" or bright green for us that dont speak German with a black vinyl roof and has been laid up since 1995 in a dry garage under a sheet.
it has 72000 miles on the clock which is genuine as my dad bought it as an ex audi demonstrator
it was MOT'd just weeks before it was garaged and had no advisories. again just prior to lay up it had a new cam belt though i wouldn't risk starting it now without replacing that first.
the car always ran well and to this day still looks to be in reasonably good condition. the only bodywork issues as far as i am aware is the front driver side wing which has a small area of penetrating rust on the top trailing edge and a dent just behind the headlights after an arguement with the garage door frame ! Internally it is the classic period audi black with black and white chequered seats, recaro at the front, natty little pod speakers and a blaupunkt radio all in good condition. the car has the original factory alloys and is completely standard with the exception of electronic ignition.
the car is laid up in Reigate which is 5 mins from junction 8 on the M25.
as regards to price ???? Audis are not something I am into though I would like to see the car go to an enthusiast as it has many childhood memories for me. I have been offered £1500 for the number plate
HGT 7N and the car is easily worth that on its own so £ 2000 is a steal !!!!
I will try and get some pictures of the car as it is today as the only ones we have are from the early 90's
